The chalet we stayed in was absolutely spotless and well furnished. It had all the amenities we needed, like a TV and a good kitchen with a fridge/freezer. the beds were comfortable and the central heating worked well. the host was fantastic, really friendly, and even provided us with free eggs, coffee, and milk. the view from the living room was really nice, despite the units on the other side. Plus, the added bonus of a small playground for the kids was great.
The bar didn't allow dogs, which was a bit disappointing. we were able to enjoy some lovely takeaway food.

The nearest airport is a mere hour and a half away.if you don't mind the traffic and the reluctant bus driver. Quite the convenient location, don't you think?
Oh, I just loved how the lodge had a terrace. Who doesn't enjoy the aroma of freshly smoked rain-soaked golf balls?

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better would be a wider variety of items.

The terrace was the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing drink and soak up the lovely views. Almost made me forget I was too posh to sit outside.
Shame they don't have butlers on hand to serve drinks on the terrace. Middle class problems, I suppose.
